on writing for 'neuroceans'
The aim with the 'NeurOceans
' is to begin to envisage what we all want with a virtual Future....
It's a future of sharing art and ideas.....musical communion.....and higher communication.....
that works always in confluence with the Source - reality - as opposed to an imbalance.
It recognises who and what we are - connected to Earth - evolving.....and yet we are 'tinkerers' .....meddling with our own code....
There is still a distinction between those 'connected' and those 'disconnected'.
And there are writings that deal with situations where an imbalance occur - leading to addiction, and the usual cyberpunk problems.....abuse of powers...
But , using Nanofiction
, (short, 500 word or less, to be read onscreen if possible)....the idea is to get away from the usual good and bad stories, and use writing to envisage possible uses of technology.....and still be illuminated, inspired, gripped even.....

New story: 'Recruitment to Firecube'
The London ‘sim’ existed on one of the initial Neuroceans
servers, accessed through virtual reality technology, and with elaborate graphics and sound. He’d then been twenty-two and jacked into a scene modelled directly from an area in Hammersmith. It was an escape into an alternative version of London, but an ironic one,
because he lived in the same exact area in reality. Amazing it was, to see with how much detail they had replicated his home territory. He could just stand and stare at the trees that lined the street, swaying gently in the simulated wind. It was getting harder to believe it wasn't real................Read more.........

W E L C O M E
Hello, I'm a multimedia artist, and some of my work seems to involve nature, technology and humanity......'cybernatural' i tend to call it.....
I have set this community up recently to encourage some more serious/spritual thoughts and imaginings surrounding the web future that continues to play a large part in all our lives......is it just a tool, a knowledge base, a community platform, feeding back and complementing our everyday lives....or is it set to replace our realities with a freer, deeper, (or darker?) potential .....to upset spiritual integrity and addict the unwary .......? Calling all writers, designers, and thinkers....welcome to this little community (with a spiritual leaning) to share and unite such wariness and powers.....
What awaits?...myspace user? 'second life' designer?.....There is no better time to share your explanations for your involvement in the future.....
